๐ŸŒฒ 4th Grade Summer Adventure Opportunity: California State Parks Pass ๐ŸŒฒ

Hello Beethoven 4th Grade Families!

Hereโ€™s a summer opportunity that feels more like a gift than a program.

Through the California State Park Adventure Pass, every 4th grader in California attending a public school can enjoy free entry to 54 California State Parksโ€”along with their family and friends.

That means mountains, beaches, forests, deserts, riversโ€ฆ all within reach, all summer long.

๐ŸŒŸ What is it?

This pass gives 4th graders and their families free day-use entry to participating California State Parks during:

  • The 4th grade school year

  • And the following summer (through August 31)

Up to three accompanying adults plus siblings or friends in the same vehicle can join in the adventure.

๐Ÿ‘จโ€๐Ÿ‘ฉโ€๐Ÿ‘ง Who can use it?

  • Your 4th grade student (or public school 4th grade equivalent)

  • Family members and friends traveling together

  • One pass per student covers the visit

๐Ÿ“ How do families get it?

Itโ€™s simple:

Families without internet access can also get help through a State Parks Pass Sales Office or by calling (800) 444-7275.

๐Ÿ“ Where can you go?

The pass works at dozens of California State Parks across the state. Families can explore coastal beaches, redwood forests, desert landscapes, hiking trails, and more.

๐ŸŒฟ A few reminders for safe adventures

Before heading out:

  • Check park details ahead of time

  • Bring water, snacks, and sun protection

  • Wear comfortable, appropriate clothing

  • Know your familyโ€™s comfort level for hiking or activities

We encourage all of our Beethoven 4th grade families to take advantage of this incredible opportunity. Summer is a great time to rest, recharge, and create lasting memories outdoors.

Happy exploring! ๐ŸŒ„
